I am interested in taking the CAE exam and qualify on all levels except the number of hours needed for professional development...I would love to hear the best places to get these hours.
Also I have been to 3 of the last 4 annual conferences and I was told by my executive director that there is a set number of hours I can get from attending those. I just wanted to double check this and make sure I was given good information on this front. She was talking from a recertification point of view and I didn't know if they had different standards.
The FAQ section for the ASAE 2010 Annual Conference website said the 2010 conference was good for 18 hours: http://www.asaeannualmeeting.org/faqs.cfm (scroll down pretty far). I definitely listed my annual attendance when I put in for the CAE last year.
Keep an eye out for webinars and idea swaps - more and more often you'll see organizations promoting these have been approved for CAE credit.
