I had picked up a copy of all their materials to review while I was chair of the CAE Action Team in probably 2007 or 2008.  I wouldn't bother - their stuff was OK, but in some cases it was outdated or just wrong - not that many of the other materials that are available aren't equally flawed, but at least those other materials are free and were created by people who are actual CAEs and are actually in the association community.

So how do we get a hold of the free materials written by CAEs??

I'd start with the CAE Candidate group in ASAE's Member 2 Member community - http://collaborate.asaecenter.org/Groups/ASAE%20and%20The%20Center/cae-candidate/Pages/Overview.aspx

Also, if you look in the file cabinets here (under Share on the pull down menus above), one of them is the CAE Padawans file cabinet, and it has a lot of materials too.
