Dear all,
So another CAE exam date has been and gone, so YAPstars everywhere are either breathing a sigh of relief (congratulations!!) or gearing up for the next exam cycle - and we're here to help.
For newly minted CAE's please join the CAE Jedi Masters group. You will see there are lots of opportunities to help new prospective candidates, as well as projects run by the CAE Action Team at ASAE that you can help with. Just being in the group at all helps, as if there's ever a sticky practice question that people are having trouble with, we can post it there and see if you can help them figure it out.
For people about to start studying for the next exam, don't hesitate to post here if you are looking to form a study group or have any questions at all about the exam process, exam format, or specific domain topics, or just want to express your stress and have others understand!
We will of course provide virtual chats here too if there is enough demand. I know for a fact that these have helped a lot of people, not just those who found it hard to find a face-to-face study group but also as a way to reinforce what you're studying regardless.
In closing, I wanted to point you to something really powerful. KiKi L'italien did not pass this time, but she posted this really honest, beautiful post on her blog about it and I got her permission to share it with you. I know it will resonate. Even more importantly, though, she's turning that experience into a positive and started a new blog, CAE37: From Failure to Fabulous, in which she will document her studying progress. I hope anyone about to start studying will subscribe to her blog and make that journey with her. Really, really awesome. A TRUE YAPstar who can show us all how to to live a life of transparency and authenticity. Thank you KiKi for ALREADY being fabulous!
