We're looking to integrate a "meeting app" into our annual convention this year. We've reviewed several options, but finding a budget-friendly version that still offers the features we need has been frustrating.
Looking for any recommendations, your experiences as planner or as attendee with using an app, etc.
Depending on if your attendees will have decent Internet connectivity at your conference, you may want to look at a mobile website for the conference. It could be less expensive to develop the mobile website on one platform (the web) than on multiple platforms like iPhone, Android, Blackberry etc. You many want to check out EventMobi which has a modestly priced mobile event solution.

Thank you for the recommendation. Yes, we were impressed with their offering. Unfortunately, they are out of our budget range for this year and our first attempt at using this technology. We are looking at Grupio; seems to have most of the key features, good tech support, user-friendly.
I've used this mobile site for a number of conferences. It's easy to use, competitively priced but if you're interested, I can negotiate the price for you to suit your budget.
