We have an opening here at the National Court Reporters Association for a Digital Media Specialist. Here is the ad I've posted on other sites:
Job Description:
• Manage all content for the NCRA Web site.
• Assist with staff requests regarding online issues pertaining to the Web site and external online outposts.
• Monitor member activity on all social media outposts and work closely with the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications to re-evaluate and establish an effective social media strategy.
• Generate online content. This will include video production/editing for marketing initiatives, writing news stories, and disseminating information on social media outposts.
• Manage and train staff on Web editing software.
Requirements:
This position calls for an undergraduate degree or higher with 1-3 years of relevant experience, including a background in developing digital media initiatives. Experience with social media strategy as well as extensive writing experience in both print and online environments is critical. Strong working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, LinkedIn, and YouTube are required. Additionally, training in the following areas is preferred: video editing, principles of video production, Final Cut Pro, graphic design, Photoshop, HTML, and Mac operating systems.
