One of my clients is in the process of a database clean-up. We want to create a tipped in renewal form on the cover (8x11) of our magazine with a business reply card. Does anyone have any experience with business reply cards? Would anyone be willing to share a template from word or publisher?
Your printer and/or your lettershop should be able to give you a template as well as letting you know what you are allowed to have on the "address" side of your BRC. I would check with them for a template.
What is the purpose of your card? Is it for people to actually renew by sending credit card info on the card itself? If so you may want to consider not doing a BRC but suggesting that they put it in an envelope. The reason I suggest this is that many people are very hesitant to simply put their credit card number on something that is visible to the eyes as it goes through the mail system.
Thanks Scott! That's quite helpful. It's a free publication, so we're not requiring any credit card information. It's an unaudited publication, so we're trying to do a data clean-up. We basically just want people to return the cards, so we can confirm that the mail is reaching them. We'll try reaching out to the printer and seeing how that goes. Thanks so much!
