The Association for Professionals in Infection Control & Epidemiology (APIC) has created a position that combines your excellent project management with program development and process improvement.
The Associate Director of Education will be responsible for:
- Defining, implementing, evaluating and improving processes;
- Maintaining volunteer member, vendor, consultant and speaker relationships;
- Planning, implementing and monitoring program plans and budgets;
- Evaluating and maintaining quality of projects and programs.
In addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining the association's accreditation status with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
The Associate Director of Education has primary responsibility for overall budget and program management for APIC's Annual Conference, including staff leadership and support to the Annual Conference Committee members.
The successful candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and
- Five years experience working in complex project management for education and/or professional development preferably at a non-profit, volunteer membership healthcare association.
- Excellent communications skills are a must and experience with volunteer management, budgeting, project management, program planning, large conference or annual conference planning are also required.
