OK Yapsters... I have an opportunity for anyone attending the Great Ideas Conference in Mar. to enjoy 3 days of skiing at Copper Mountain, one of the nice ski resorts in Colorado. Take a look at the details and let me know if you would like to go. I have 5 rooms on hold allowing us to have up to 10 people share those 5 rooms cutting lodging cost in half. Here's the details:
Drive over to Copper Mountain Resort on Wed. March 10. The resort is right at the base of the mountain and is $194 and night first two nights, and $224 for Fri night. For shared rooms, that is $97 a night and $112. We would ski Thurs, Fri, Saturday returning to a moderately priced airport hotel (about $45 shared) in Colorado Springs to simply shuttle to our flights. Ski lift tickets are a total of $165 for all three days. Hotel got us a nice group rate. They are $250 online at discounted rate. Ski rentals are $17 to $31 a day for everything depending on the type of equipment you want.
Approximate Total Cost for a person sharing a room excluding airfare, food and driving to Copper would be (once we know # of people, we will get the most cost effective transportation to Copper. Will not be a lot.:
Lodging for 4 Days: $385 Ski Lift Tickets for 3 Days: $180 Ski Rentals for 3 Days: $100
Approximate Total Cost to Ski: $665
Let me know if you would like to take advantage. Call me at 904-334-9408 or tom@callmti.com.
