Next round? May 1st Test

It's been so exciting to see all the good news - and comforting because I'm planning on the May 1 test. Hoping to find others and looking for advice on how to begin the study process (just 90 some days!)

Hi Peggy,

Knowing you, I'm sure you'll do just fine!  For what it's worth, it really helped me to go to the immersion course.  That was where I joined a study group, which totally kept me on track in my preparation for the test!  Thanks again for your help on our CEA project!

Hi Peggy --

I'm planning to take the exam in May and since I'm not in the DC area, was hoping to set up another YAP virtual study group like was done for the December exam. If anyone else is interested in that let me know!

Thanks Laurie and glad to "meet" ya Scott. As soon as Maddie gets past Tech09 I'm sure we can get her input on the next group. Looking forward to it (I think!)

Hi Peggy & Scott, 

Like Scott, I was from out of town when I studied for and took the December 2008 exam.  Here's my two cents:  Take the immersion course! It was there that I and others in my group, met each other, made a ton of contacts with CAEs who presented at the course (keep in touch with those CAEs and get a mentor!) and formed a great study group that met by conference call weekly - and here's the best part ... 100% of our conference call study group passed the December exam!!

Hi all! Yes we are absolutely going to be setting some stuff up for the next round. I will keep you informed here and if you need my help specifically let me know. Anyone who wants to set up a virtual study group can obviously do that regardless. Watch this space.

Hi all, I plan to take the test in May as well. Considered sitting in December but noticed so many comments here about the importance of Immersion -- and I had already missed it.  Feels like a better start this time around. Glad YAP is here to provide a forum with others in the same boat ... and help keep us on track!

I am from the St. Louis, Missouri area.  While we are forming a small study group here of 3 I would like to participate in this group as well.  Any extra help is appreciated.  Let me know when you put something together.

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to take the exam in May, too.  I'd love to join a study group, virtually and/or in person.

Does anyone have any information about the students who are just finishing up the ASAE immersion course this week (Maddie, would you know??)?  It would be great to invite them into the YAP study group, or get involved in any study groups that formed after that course.
